JHDD has developed a web-based room scheduling system that integrates with your network and your Microsoft Exchange server via a touch screen display to provide real-time meeting information, just where you need it - right outside the meeting room.
The interactive 7” touch screen that is integrated into the unit reduces meeting interruptions, eliminates scheduling mistakes, and encourages more effective use of the meeting spaces. Schedule your meetings either directly on the JHDD Meeting unit or via Microsoft Outlook - it couldn’t be easier.
See if a meeting room is available, which participants are scheduled to be in a particular meeting and the touch screen will also show the topic of the meeting.
It is perfectly suited to any environment where people share rooms, yet require private space. This makes it ideal for community centres, recruitment agencies, hotels, hospitals, military, government, higher education and more.

An in-built motion sensor automatically powers down when there is no activity. This will reactivate whenever movement is sensed. So you’re always free to get value for money.
How does it work?
With this system there are two ways of scheduling a meeting; through Microsoft Outlook™ or directly on the 7” touch screen
Using Microsoft Outlook to Schedule a Meeting
- Go into your Microsoft Outlook™ diary and schedule a meeting as you normally do
- Give your meeting a subject (leave blank if the subject is confidential) Invite attendees as you normally would
- Click on “Select Meeting Room & Time” which opens the meeting space scheduling window. Reserve a room and time. You’re done!
Now the room is reserved for that time on that date. When the meeting is in session the system's screen will turn red, and the subject and attendees names will appear on the screen.
Booking a meeting directly on the screen.
- Schedule a Meeting directly on the 7” Touch Screen
- You’ll know a room is free because the TouchIT Meeting screen will be green
- Touch the screen and move the timeline slider to the start time you require
- Touch the end time box then move the timeline slider to the desired end time. It will not allow you to double-book meetings
- Press finish – and you’re done!
The meeting you just scheduled can be moved, adjusted, or cancelled at any time via the touch screen. Just touch the reservation block on the timeline and to view the schedule and make changes.
Reservations made via Outlook can only be adjusted or deleted by the organiser via Outlook. Meetings reserved directly on the system can be deleted by anyone although they will not have meeting subjects or an attendee list.
